SUMMARY:United In Prayer For Palestine
DESCRIPTION:Unite in Supplication: A Dawn of Solidarity for Palestine and the Ummah\nWe invite you to a profound moment of collective prayer\, a bond stretching across every prayer mat\, minaret and dome. \nA Call to the Night’s Vigil (Qiyām al-Layl) and Dawn’s (Fajr) Embrace\nJoin us starting Saturday\, November 25th\, for a night vigil (Qiyām al-Layl) culminating in the Fajr congregation. This event isn’t just about the physical gathering but about the unity of hearts and souls showing our strength and beseeching Allāh through Salāh and Du’ā’ and especially the Qunoot an-Nāzilah—the supplication for times of calamity and distress. \nThe Process\nThe process we have given is general but every mosque participating will all be offering Qiyām al-Layl and the Fajr Jamā’ah. The details of how are left to the individual participating mosques. \n\nCommencement (5am): The Qiyām al-Layl will begin. This will either be doing individually at some mosques\, while others may be doing so in congregation.\nReflection & Supplication (Pre-Fajr): The quiet hours before Fajr offer a canvas for Tahajjud prayers\, personal reflections\, and the serene recitation of the Qur’ān. There should be time for personal ‘Ibādah and recitations.\nFajr Unity (6:45am-7:00am): Fajr prayers will be offered in congregation\, with Qunoot an-Nāzilah for the Ummah’s trials. This will be done as the mosques decides either in the salāh or after the salāh.\nContinuation: Our goal is for Qunoot an-Nāzilah to become a daily invocation in the participating mosques\, maintaining the momentum of our unity.\n\nMosques United:\n\nManchester Central Mosque (offering breakfast)\nFaizan e Islam Manchester (doing daily Qiyām and dhikr)\nMinhaj-ul-Quran Manchester\nDarul Uloom Manchester\nKhizra Mosque\nDidsbury Mosque (will also offer breakfast)\n\nAnd anticipate others to join! Together\, we aspire to extend a city-wide embrace of supplication and hope! \nWhy Qunoot an-Nāzilah? This is a du’ā’ said in times of trial and tribulation upon Muslims. Our collective du’ā’ is a beacon of hope. Qunoot an-Nāzilah is not just a prayer; it’s a declaration of our unwavering support for our brothers and sisters enduring hardships. It’s an affirmation that their pain is ours\, their struggle is ours\, and their relief is our supplication. \nThis was practiced by the Prophet ﷺ and the companions after him. \n\nAnas bin Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) recited Qunut for one month (in the Fajr prayer) asking Allah to punish the tribes of Ral and Dhakwan. (al-Bukhari and others) \nAnas: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said Al-Qunut for one month after the posture of Bowing\, invoking evil upon some ‘Arab tribes. (al-Bukhari and others) \nAnas that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said the Qunut for one month\, supplicating against one of the ‘Arab tribes\, then he stopped doing that.” (Sunan an-Nisā’i and others) \nIn another occasion\, the Prophet ﷺ came to know of some weak oppressed believers in Makkah\, who had been captured and prevented from emigrating. He invoked for Allah to rescue them\, and mentioned them one by one by name\, until they were released and came to Madinah: \nNarrated Abu Huraira The Prophet ﷺ used to recite the following invocations during Qunut: “O Allah! Save Salama bin Hisham. O Allah! Save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid. O Allah! Save `Aiyash bin Rabi`a O Allah ! Save the weak Muslims. O Allah! Be very hard on Mudar tribe. O Allah! Afflict them with years (of famine) similar to the (famine) years of the time of Prophet Joseph.” Abu Huraira said\, Then I saw that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had stopped saying this supplication afterwards. I said: ‘I see that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has stopped praying against them’ It was said: ‘Do you not see that they have come?’ [Muslim] \n \n\n\n  \n\nGet Involved:\nWe call upon every mosque and every individual to join hands in this initiative. Let your local mosque be a part of this. Stand together\, as our united prayers ascend\, seeking mercy and relief for Palestine and all of the Ummah. \nFor further details\, involvement\, or to extend your support\, reach out to us: \nEmail: info@theblessedhub.co.uk Phone: 07845542611 \nJoin the vigil\, be the solace\, and let’s witness the power of unity at the break of dawn.
